Celebrating Volunteers’ Week 2024

CAML is one of the many local charities so well supported by exceptional volunteers. As part of celebrations, Carole, Sheila and Stephanie joined Simon Shimmens, CEO at a LinkUp London volunteer celebration event at Battersea Power Station on the evening of Wednesday 5th June. Amongst a host of guest speakers and a montage of short video messages, the consistent words used were just 'thank you' for the commitment, compassion and hugely valuable services that volunteers provide to support social cohesion and a stronger sense of community.

For our CAML volunteers, who Simon refers to as 'gold dust' and to all volunteers, just a big THANK YOU.
